Bailey Midkiff, WIC, gives an update from DUG Bakken and Rockies Conference & Exhibition and comments on the upcoming election year. Midkiff said there was two main themes that came from this year’s conference. One is that some are concern about oil prices with another victory for President Trump. The second is those companies who are all in and emitting energy.

The ESMP is intended to reaffirm Meridian’s commitment to the environmentally and socially responsible development and operation of its facilities and the company’s alignment with the environmental and social risk management framework set forth in the Equator Principles. He gives a timeline and lays out how those Equator Principals will be implemented into their business plan.
North Dakota Land Commissioner Jodi Smith answers several questions regarding a letter that was sent by the state agency who is looking to collect millions of dollars in unpaid natural gas royalties from companies operating in the oil patch following a North Dakota Supreme Court ruling last summer.
Mike McMahon comments on EcoVapor Recovery Systems celebrating ten years of business in emission management. McMahon discusses some of the issues in flaring, Colorado’s regulatory climate and what is actually captured to avoid the flare.
