The Crude Life and The Industrial Forest have entered into a brand licensing and distribution agreement as an awareness campaign and fundraiser.
The agreement will highlight “Sustainable Solutions” through showcasing companies, highlighting products and documenting industrial action through traditional mediums like radio and print, plus the digitally social platforms and experiential events.
“We are very excited to be a part of the debut of environmentally friendly products that showcase how industry and environment can not only co-exisist, but make the planet cleaner and the life that exists on it healthier,” Jason Spiess, The Crude Life founder and The Industrial Forest volunteer said. “The Sustainable Straws are an awesome example of how industry evolves to solve social issues. Plant-based straws bring an intelligent intention to the marketplace. Not everyone uses a straw, me included, but understand there are those who do for not only personal reasons, but medical ones too.”
The Sustainability Straws are not designed to solve the world’s problem overnight, rather, become a step towards Industrial Intention according to Spiess.
“Industrial Intention is understanding the end goal. If the end goal is to make money no matter what, that model does fly anymore,” Spiess said. “The Crude Life and The Industrial Forest is showing the world companies who are putting their risk, money and innovations where the mouth is.”

“We strive to connect people to the resources of sustainable living, health, energy and well being in as many communities we can across the world,” Spiess said. “As we promote sustainable buying, acting, and sourcing locally, we are reminded where our energy comes from to allow us the opportunity to live better lives.”
“For only $7.99, you can have a Stocking Stuffer that helps industry, saves the planet and becomes an excellent conversation piece for your family Christmas morning,” Spiess said.
