Etam, who works and lives in Canada, discusses the pros and cons with solar and wind energy. He suggests that we should begin looking at natural gas as free energy.
Subsidies were discusses as were taxes and fees within the oil and gas industries. Europe, Canada and the United States were used as examples of how those impact a local economy.
Climate change issues and oil and gas public relations were also discussed.
Terry Etam is a twenty-five-year veteran of Canada’s energy business. He has worked at a number of occupations spanning the finance, accounting, communications, and trading aspects of energy, and has written for several years on his own website Public Energy Number One and the widely-read industry site the BOE Report.
