Kalah Sprabeary, Hub Funding Solution, gives a recap of a recent event regarding the oil and gas industry. Sprabeary attended the Round Table – Economics of Oil and Gas – presented by Tim Snyder of Matador Economics. Other presenters – Karr Ingham and Baron Lucas of EHS.
Sprabeary said many believe we are going to see WTI between $70-85 a barrel. Stability and slow growth are signs and trends experts are looking for these days in energy development.
Sprabeary discussed the importance of overhead in a company’s activities. She went as far as to say “any company’s overhead will either make or break them”. She cited fuel is a big part of a company’s overhead. Some believe fuel will go down before Christmas, and if there is no big shakeup politically after this election, the status quo will continue.
She also talks about the busy trucking industry, rig count efficiency and a boom coming for pipeline companies as well as the midstream.
