HOUR ONE PLAY HARD: Jason Spiess and Shawn Forbes are sharing stories about Everyday Energy For Everyday People at the Williston Basin Petroleum Conference in Bismarck, ND.
Monte Besler talks how nice it is to see faces and shake hands again while it totally has an “old home week” feel at the conference. He also talks about the documentary being filmed on the Bakken oil fields and he was asked to be interviewed as a legacy and icon in the industry.
Monte shares his story about how and why he was banned from LinkedIn. From the post itself to attempts to understand to trying to reach LinkedIn are discussed in the interview. Monte still to this day is banned from LinkedIn and believes it is for life.
Jason transitions into a segment of Monte’s personal life where he and Monte met. Monte has a child with autism and is cared for by Able, Inc. Able, Inc. is a non-profit who offers services to families with children with severe needs and often 24-hour care. The non profit has been a big supporter of oil and gas families through the years.
Monte explains why he takes personal issue with the use of Greta Thunberg and shares his feelings on the political use of children. He ties it back to his post on LinkedIn regarding Climate Change, Greta Thunberg and the use of children in political agendas.

Alicia Heiskell, GPS International gives some “white hot” news regarding their recent field test in Pecos, TX.
GPS International completed their Phase 2 field trial on their patent pending method to reduce Methane emissions from natural gas during flaring or venting operations.
Test Results: In their field tests there was a vast visible discharged reduction in Methane (CH₄) exhaust emissions measured during these tests – estimated +60% (particulate measurement points), a noticeable flare plume (emissions) and hydrocarbon smoke reduction.
