HOUR ONE PLAY HARD:  Jason Spiess and Sterling are all over the place on this Hump Day.

Jason and Sterling are both “skin-in-the-game” entrepreneurs and pontificate if there is a shift or new definition of what an entrepreneur is.

The conversation is fueled by a piece of legislation in North Dakota shaving $1B of Legacy Fund money to enabling entrepreneurs. Jason reads an ambiguous email from the state of North Dakota regarding the new program.

Artificial intelligence and robotics are also discussed in detail. From the integration of technology into oil and gas, other industries are also discussed.

Sterling’s father had a job that was taken out by a robot – bowling pin setter. Yup, that’s right. There are still people walking around this planet who were employed by bowling alleys to set up pins and return balls.

Other potential areas where robots are starting their takeover include bartenders, Uber drivers, postal workers, journalist and bomb squad.
