HOUR ONE PLAY HARD: Jason Spiess and Sterling preview the program and spill into Ted Turner’s timing and opportunities in business. From there, Jason shares his experience meeting Gary Vaynerchuk and seeing his live performance.
Lauren Guerra, Vice President at The Austin-Montana Project, Digital Content Administrator for San Antonio Pipeliners Association, Immediate Past-President of WEN South Texas, gives an overview of The Austin-Montana Project.
Lauren also talks about the San Antonio Pipeliners Association and their recent scholarship offerings.
She also describes why she is so passionate about Women Owned Businesses and networking with purpose rather than just for social reasons. Lauren also talks about some of the people who have influenced and shaped her to who she is today.
In the News, Rumors and Newspeak portion of Play Hard, Jason nearly loses it early on. The two are stumped and shocked by the news story that implies the American Petroleum Institute is conceding to Climate Envoy John Kerry‘s carbon initiatives.
Sterling points out that the Big 3 in Oil are now using the word “transition” in the news rather than “all the above”, like they’ve given in to the Climate Activists pressures.
The two discuss how the past decade of leadership lead coal into the predicament they are in today. They also flesh out further whether the ESG movement is the newest Dot Com Bubble for investors only this time the government is the venture capitalist.
Jason then completely loses his &%!T over how the past decade of leadership has allowed and enabled the creation of a Climate Czar and Climate Envoy and how they now control the conversation.
“I didn’t realize John Kerry was the new voice in oil and gas….. holy shit.” – Jason Spiess
