David Allen, Elite Energy Services, tells the story of their old school entrepreneur family business. Allen describes how he came across the idea for their fire tube and what sacrifices his family made while proving the product.
Allen also goes into detail regarding their product, an electronic heater treater scanner that is assisting oil producers in prevention of saltwater disposal spills on production locations.
A scan costs around $500, much less expensive than the thousands of dollars to replace a fire tube. Plus the prevention of accidents around the flammable liquids.
David Allen has been with Elite Energy Services since 2014. He has served as the research and development director for Tube Masters Fire Tube Scanning System. He has provided oversight and implementation guidelines for the scanning system. Prior to Elite Energy, he was with Lockheed Martin, serving as the ES&H Director at the INEEL Nuclear Fuel Reprocessing Facility. Prior to that, he worked at Westinghouse as the Emergency Manager for IRT response chemical emergency response. He has also worked with Intermountain Healthcare System in I-Care services. He graduated from Weber State University in Ogden, Utah and also was an associate instructor at Utah Valley Community College in Provo, Utah.
