Kristin Seaks, Dickinson Backpack Program, talks about the need for the program and what they do. The Dickinson BackPack Program provides hungry children with nutritious, easy to prepare food on weekends and during school breaks. Last year, they provided 300 children food every week. Seaks also talks about Giving Hearts Day and what the Dickinson BackPack Program is doing for the annual fundraiser.

Brent Seaks, Badlands Ministries, explains the need for Christian-based services in western North and South Dakota. Badlands Ministries has been around for over 90 years. Seaks also comments on the connection between faith and oil and gas communities. How the core comprised within Christian values are in line with the values of an oil and gas community.

Sara Myhre, Community Ambulance Service of New Rockford talks about what services they provide for their area. They are participating in Giving Hearts Day, Feb. 14, and describes his experience with the event. Myhre explains their challenges with fundraising and revenue generation in an emergency services field. Myhre also describes what local community activities they will be doing on Giving Hearts Day in order to motivate people to give.

Wade Nelson, Minot Youth for Christ, talks about what services Youth for Christ offers the Minot Area. They are participating in Giving Hearts Day, Feb. 14, and describes his experience with the event.
