Spiess outlines the flow of the stimulus and PPP money and where a majority of it ends up. Mortgages, rent, auto payments, insurance, student loans and franchise restaurants will and have received the majority of the relief money due to the fact they are the only businesses open.
He shares a story about a police officer threatening to shut down a bar/restaurant in Becker County, Minnesota, because they were serving a drink to those who wanted one while waiting 10 minutes for to go orders.
