The Crude Life host Jason Spiess joins Genneca for a weekly energy report on The Country Twins morning show. Spiess discusses how the coronavirus is impacting the economy.
Stories about toilet paper, bat wing soup, nurses, travel, eating out and working from home are several of the topics discussed under the coronavirus umbrella.
Spiess made notes of the cancellations, saying the NBA was willing to experiment a fanless experience, but after two players tested positive, the league felt obligated to take the path of total safety. That scenario was discussed with off shoots of how important fans are to the game and live events. How cancellations became a one-ups-manship after the NBA – from March Madness to parades to schools.
Spiess mentioned how schools closing before state agency and public health departments recommended so is an example of leadership – whether it is good or bad leadership, will be determined.
The Crude Life Podcast can be heard every Monday through Thursday with a Week in Review on Friday.
