Interview: North Dakota Agriculture Commissioner and Industrial Commission member, Doug Goehring
In this special interview, Goehring discusses public comments on private land in North Dakota and how it is creating some issues in the energy world. He also comments on the recent flaring numbers and how $50 oil could impact those percentages and numbers.
Goehring also talks about the emerging PULSE crop industry and the new proposal PULSE facility in Minot, ND.
Hemp is discussed with the agriculture commissioner. North Dakota legalized the growing of hemp in 1997 and currently the state is working and supervising a hemp growing program with several farmers. The program is intended to document yields in seeds and plant fibers.
