The Crude Life 2020 March Madness Tournament lived up to the hysteria and hype with No. 1 seeds MBI Energy Services and Creedence Energy Services getting upset by No. 9 seeds Elite Energy Services and The Earth’s Champion Johnny Green. The Sweet 16 will showcase intriguing match ups as companies look toward the next round of competition.
The second round of the tournament saw a couple other upsets as No. 13 K9 Pipe Inspections and No. 7 McKenzie County Economic Development advanced to the Sweet 16.
Experienced powerhouse programs like No. 1 Swan Energy and Crestwood Midstream Partners headline the field, but there arguments to be made that No. 2 Target Hospitality and No. 3 Absolute Energy Field Products & Services should have been top seeds in the Bakken and Permian Regions. Instead they will play each other in the Sweet Sixteen round of the Permian Region.
