U.S. Senator Kevin Cramer joins The Crude Life for a Year End update and Energy Outlook for 2022. The senator expresses his concern for the future of the oil and gas industry if President Biden’s policies continue down the path they are heading. He explains what issues specifically are impacting the American energy industry, specifically fossil fuels.
Host Jason Spiess asks Senator Cramer about his views on inflation and if $100 Oil is the new $50 Oil. Senator Cramer expounds on that thread and layers in regulation and socialist economic policies.
Senator Cramer does issue a bit of a warning regarding the end of capitalism and beginning of socialism. He ties the connection to the Build Back Better plan being discussed in Washington. Cramer believes these types of policies are designed so special interest groups can control the marketplace and economy.
The interview also dives into Senator Cramer’s plan to create awareness on America’s leadership towards combating climate change. U.S. Senators Dan Sullivan (R-Alaska), Kevin Cramer (R-N.D.) and Cynthia Lummis (R-Wyo.) held a press conference recently in the Capitol to announce the American Energy, Jobs & Climate Plan.
This plan is billed as an innovative clean energy and climate strategy with the potential to reduce global emissions by up to 40 percent from today’s levels by 2050 and create thousands of jobs for hard-working Americans. Senators Ted Cruz (R-Texas), John Kennedy (R-La.) and Rob Portman (R-Ohio) also attended the press conference.
