WY Gov Gordon Gives Update On Federal Leases, COVID And Energy Extraction
/

Wyoming Governor Mark Gordon gives an update on the federal lease kerfuffle that is crating major issues in the Western Energy areas of oil and gas development. The Governor also talks about the recent news of President Joe Biden’s revisiting the federal lease executive order.

The interview dives into the COVID/CARES Act money that was given to small businesses in the energy industry as a way to jump start their local economy. Governor Gordon compares their distribution method of the dollars versus other states. He cited North Dakota as another state who followed a similar model, however, the major difference is that in Wyoming the CARES Act went to small businesses whereas in ND the oil and gas companies received the government assistance.

Shortly after Governor Mark Gordon was interviewed by The Crude Life, he spoke and addressed the crowd at The Energy Exposition.

The Energy Exposition has educated tens of thousands of people in Gillette, Wyoming; Billings, Montana, and Loveland, Colorado, over the last 20 years on procedures, technology, safety, environmental practices, and equipment used in the oil and gas industry. Our doors have always been open to industry and non-industry attendees. Exhibitors and Symposiasts represent a wide range of services, including but not limited to, exploration, production, downstream, and all phases of support to the oil and gas industry. Members from the wind, solar, and other energy companies also join in our overall goal to coexist as create more efficient innovations to aid humanity.
