HOUR ONE PLAY HARD: Jason Spiess and Sterling talk about the true definition of freedom.
The reason North Dakota is called the “Peace Garden” state is discussed and why there are a few surprises, like a potential “freedom search”, for those thinking they will just enjoy looking at flowers.
The Bakken BBQ is on the Summer Tour calendar and the “celebrities” are starting to line up. Jason and Sterling talk about a couple local dignitaries and celebs coming to the Bakken BBQ to hand out ESG Potatoes.
The Play Hard segment dives into being a 10-year-old entrepreneur. Pontifications about how “back in the day”, when kids could mow lawns, have paper routes and lemonade stands.
That conversation transitioned into the question of “how do I monetize my awkwardness too?”
Sterling has a birthday tri-fecta in his household with a daughter, wife and mother all having the same birthday.
Robotic Farming replacing workers, workers replacing poles, distracted driving and The Bakken Bridge are also discussed.
This is also the anniversary of Negative Oil! Jason and Sterling share some comments they received last year when they introduced the conversation.
On March 11, 2020 The Crude Life Podcast asked the question – Could oil really fall to less than $10 per barrel? We asked and you responded…
Via email – Yes, I get it….we also have plans in case china attacks us. No, they never will, but we have plans…. But oil below $10??
Via NiobraraChalk FB – Not with the current rate of hyper inflation induced by government minimum wage increases. Corona virus may push it down that low but to speculate over a 10 year period what it will do is like asking your crystal ball what will happen in the future.
Via The Crude Life FB – This is absolutely stupid and is not rooted in any sort of fundamental understanding of oil and gas production.
