HOUR ONE PLAY HARD:  Jason Spiess and Sterling play catch up again with a Sunday recording of their Thursday show.

Sterling chooses “Fraggle sits in for Jason during a Zoom call” as the topic of conversation today. From that selection, the two talk about school Zoom calls, Ron Paul’s half dressed gaffe, what’s in your room’s background and quarentini parties.

Jason, who got rid of his television in 2006, asks Sterling is anyone under 60 is watching television anymore. Meaning they are all getting their video content and news online and not from the traditional television programs and delivery formula.

He cites Cheap Trick on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert and the demographic of advertisements like reverse mortgage ads and bowel-related heart pressure pharmaceutical ads.

The conversation transitions into another episode of “existential energy” from the half dressed Zoom meetings banter into the dark reality of business ties and wedding rings.

Jason explains how he’s always had a difficult time with looking into the mirror in the morning while tying a noose around his neck in order to go to work. The discussion continues with the ring finger artery connected to your heart and how the wedding ring becomes a slow choke on your heart’s blood flow. Ah the symbolism of life.
