Joe Sinnott, CEO, Witting Partners and host of The Energy Detox Podcast recaps the SHALE INSIGHT conference held Sept 26-28 in Erie, PA.
The SHALE INSIGHT conference brings some of the nation’s foremost energy leaders and experts together on shale development, environmental protection, pipeline investment, energy driven manufacturing and jobs in demand.
Sinnott said there was a number of topics outside of Shale that are still related to the industry, like Carbon Capturing.
ESG Environmental Social Governance was also discussed, however, according to Sinnott many of the conversations around ESG were happening, but not referring to the issues as ESG issues. Host Jason Spiess and Sinnott discuss that detail in addition to the overall vibe of ESG in Energy Development.
Hydrogen was another item of note. There are serious discussions happening about the next chapter in building a Hydrogen Hub in the Marcellus Utica Appalachian basin.
