Midkiff Explains How Sales, Biz Dev Feel Gas Impacts
/

When it comes to gas prices, there are very few not impacted.  Truckers, politicians and oil companies seem to attract most of the attention, but for the average person, a trip to the grocery store or work can become more expensive than budgeted.

Bailey Midkiff is one of those individuals who has had to reevaluate his business development strategy and time allotment in order to sustain success in the sales world.  In this Cross Promotional Podcast, Midkiff joins Jason Spiess on The Crude Life and .  SuperTalk 1270’s Talk of the Town

“I put on about 6,000 miles a month,” Midkiff said.

Midkiff shares a few anecdotal tips on how he is “changing his oil while driving 90-mile-an-hour down the Interstate” and what he sees coming in the next couple of months.

“People are going to have to learn how to cold call again,” Midkiff says. “Right now everyone is hiring, well, those new hires will need to put on business and new business means old school cold calling.”

Midkiff continues explaining some of the new methods and thoughts on his current cold calling.

Midkiff works for Tri-State Industries, Inc and is based out of Wyoming.
