Senator John Hoeven, Chairman of the Senate Agriculture Appropriations Committee, announced that the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Development has awarded $114,000 to the Hettinger Area Chamber of Commerce through its Rural Business Development Grant program. Today’s funds will go toward a workforce development center, with plans to assist at least ten businesses.
“Today’s investment supports various workforce training opportunities,” said Hoeven. “This will provide local businesses with the tools and resources needed to grow their operations and the region’s economy.”
