Piers Marini, 88, professional piano player, currently lives in Las Vegas playing a daily happy hour at the Comfort Suites. From playing the grand rooms on cruise ships to headlining the Vanician in Las Vegas to having a song picked up for a motion picture soundtrack, Marini has had a diverse and interesting background in music.
Tiffany Steiner is an oil and gas professional who currently works for the North Dakota Petroleum Council. Steiner is active in oil and gas events, being heavily involved with leadership positions with API Dickinson and the Bakken BBQ.
Peter Kearl has 25 years experience in resource and environmental projects including mining development, environmental characterization, and the advancement of innovative technologies. Kearl currently is working on the commercialization of the high power microwave system for the production of hydrocarbons from various geologic sources. While a research scientist at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, Kearl was the project manager for the High Power Microwave (HPM) Program that oversaw the development of theoretical, experimental, and laboratory testing of an innovative method for the in-situ removal of hydrocarbons combining technology developed during the Star Wars program and recently available Russian radar technology.
