Interview:  Denton Zubke, North Dakota Representative and Board Member, Western Area Water Supply Authority

Representative Zubke, republican, serves District 39 in the House of Representatives for the state of North Dakota.  In addition to his public service, Zubke has a background in the private sector as well as serving on a number of committee and boards.

Zubke is a retired CEO in the fiance industry, and currently is Chairman of McKenzie County Water RD and Director (Past Chairman), Western Area Water Supply Project.  Zubke also has leadership positions with McKenzie County Job Development Authority, Watford City Chamber of Commerce and Midwest Federal Corporate Credit Union.

In this interview, Zubke talks about the Western Area Water Supply Authority and what it’s original intent was as well as where the project is going.  He also discusses how and why the government is handling competing with private businesses in the water industry.  Host Jason Spiess and Zubke also pontificate about timelines on oil and gas boom bust cycles.
